Accommodation Terms and Conditions
Reservations for short-term holiday accommodation are accepted by Jurien Bayview Realty ABN 97 700 429 816 of PO Box 64, Jurien Bay, WA 6516 (“the Booking Agent”) as agent for the Owner of the Property and to which bookings the following terms and conditions shall apply:
Booking Requirements: The person making the booking must be 25 years of age or older. This person must be within the booking party through the duration of the stay. We require a copy of a Valid Credit card and Photographic ID (Drivers Licence) as per the below security bond requirements. Any booking can be refused at the discretion of Jurien Bayview Realty.
Security Bond: A guest registration form is required to be completed for all bookings. The registration form requests details of your name, address, drivers licence number as well as credit card details. NO DEBIT CARDS ACCEPTED. If valid credit card details cannot be supplied, please contact our office for holding bond information. Your credit card details are destroyed by our office upon vacating the property when the property is found to be left in a clean order and no damage has occurred. Personal details are not given to third parties. Increased bond may be incurred for group bookings or at our discretion. If you require a late check in, keys will not be placed in the locked boxes without the required paperwork being received by our office prior to your arrival.
Deposit: For all bookings 50% of the tariff plus a booking fee of $25.00 is required as a deposit to confirm the booking. This deposit is payable at the time of your booking. The final balance of all outstanding monies is due fourteen (14) days prior to your arrival unless specified earlier on your booking information. Payment may be made by bank cheque (made payable to Jurien Bayview Realty), money order, EFTPOS, MasterCard, Visa, Online or direct deposit. If you would like to pay your payment via direct deposit our bank details are Jurien Bayview Realty Trust Account, BSB: 633-000, account number is 159003771 Please ensure that you put your surname as a reference so we know whom the funds have been deposited from. A receipt will be provided to you on arrival. There may be a surcharge for any credit card transactions.
Cancellations: Once your deposit has been paid and receipted by Jurien Bayview Realty your booking is confirmed. If we receive notice that you need to cancel your booking and it is more than six (6) weeks before arrival of your holiday, we will refund the deposit minus the $25 booking fee. If it is within the six (6) weeks before arrival your deposit and booking fee are non-refundable.
Check In: Your holiday property is available from 2:00pm and keys to the property can be collected from our office upon arrival. An early check in time may be possible however this may only be authorised if it is requested by you PRIOR TO ARRIVAL and a $50.00 fee may be applicable. If this has not been arranged prior to arrival keys will not be released until 2.00pm. In some circumstances an early check in is not possible due to previous use of the property, therefore should an early check in time not be authorised please do not be offended. Jurien Bayview Realty are open between 9.00am and 5.00pm, 7 days per week and we are located at Shop 36A Bashford Street, Jurien Bay. If you are arriving after 5.00pm please contact us to make alternative arrangements. If special arrangements are required for collection of keys after hours, lock box instructions will be emailed. Please note that keys to the property will not be released until payment is received in full and the Holiday Rental Accommodation Agreement Form is fully completed and returned to us. Only one set of keys will be given out per holiday property.
Check Out: Check out time is strictly 10.00am on the date of departure. Any late departures must be arranged prior to your stay and may incur a late fee of $50.00. The keys to the property must be returned to the Property Management office upon vacating. Any late departures that are not pre-arranged will incur a late fee. If you have anything to report back regarding the property, please do so upon returning the keys.
Change of Owners: When a booking is made, the deposit is accepted for the owner at that time. If the property is for sale and the ownership changes before your holiday, we cannot guarantee that the property will remain available. We cannot accept responsibility for decisions made by a new owner. However, if the property is sold, you will be notified as soon as possible so we can find an alternative property or so you can organise alternative accommodation if necessary.
Listed for Sale Properties: If your holiday property is listed for sale while you are in residence, the occupier agrees to allow the owner or agent to conduct inspections with prospective purchasers at a mutually convenient time, by appointment.
Alternate Accommodation: At times situations arise which we have no control. Jurien Bayview Realty reserves the right to move visitors to alternate accommodation (subject to availability) at their discretion or at the direct instruction of the property owner. In this case, we will notify you as soon as possible and make every endeavour to ensure you are happy with your new holiday property.
Linen: LINEN IS SUPPLIED-SHEETS, TOWELS & BATHMATS (except Jaybay View and Getaway). Green Head and Leeman properties you must bring your own.
Pets: Pets are generally not allowed at the holiday properties. However, we do have a number of PET FRIENDLY PROPERTIES that will allow a pet OUTSIDE ONLY. You will be required to remove all dog faeces from the property.
Rubbish: Rubbish bins are provided with all properties. Please ensure that all rubbish is removed from your holiday property and placed in the green bin provided. Please note that rubbish day is Tuesday morning. You are required to place the bin on the kerbside for collection with the handle facing the property.
Guest Numbers: Each holiday property is equipped for a specific number of guests. It is against Health Department regulations for more to occupy a property than there are beds to accommodate them. No mattresses, tents, caravans, or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. If a property is reported to be overloaded, the tenants will be asked to vacate with no refund made. If required, we can arrange cots for young children at additional costs.
Guest Responsibilities: All properties under Jurien Bayview Realty management are privately owned and are rented on a fully self-contained basis. In the event of faults and/or malfunctions of appliances or inclusions, there is no obligation from the owner or Jurien Bayview Realty to compensate or discount. All guests are responsible for keeping the property secure during their stay and will be responsible for any theft or damage due to neglect in this area. No liability is accepted for any injury, debt, damage, loss, delay, expense or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by events beyond the agent or owner’s control. No responsibility is taken for guest’s individual property left on or near the property. It is recommended that guests take out personal property insurance or adequate travel insurance should any unexpected situations arise before or during your travel period.
Left Items: If requested we will endeavour to recover and return items of value inadvertently left in your holiday property but take absolutely no responsibility for the recovery or return. The cost of postage through Australia Post will be payable by you. Low value items found will be held for claiming for a maximum of 2 weeks and if not claimed these items will be disposed of.
Feedback: Our Property Management staff endeavours to ensure that each property is maintained to an acceptable standard. We do rely on feedback from visitors should there be any problems or improvements that could be made. We do not take any responsibility should the property not be to your expectations; however, we will do everything possible to assist you should it be required. If you are not happy with your accommodation and nothing is reported to our property management department until after your stay please note that no refund will be given and no liability is accepted.
Callouts: Should a tradesperson be sent out upon your request to carry out a repair that was unnecessary, the cost of the callout will be charged to you.
Losses or Damages to Property: All guests are responsible for any loss or damage arising from breakages or other damage to the unit or common property during their stay, including removal of excess garbage and repairs or replacement of items in the property. The property must be left in a clean state and in the condition that they found the property upon arrival. If additional cleaning is required, the guests will be charged an additional fee. All properties are privately owned. Please respect the owner’s property and do not move furniture around. A fee may be charged should this occur. Do not move items from property to property.
Rental Rates: In the case of refurbishment or upon owner/s request, rental rates may be subject to increase without notice. Should this occur you will be notified and given the opportunity to pay the difference in tariff or receive a full refund of your deposit. We will also offer you alternate accommodation if possible.
Property Keys & Remotes: If keys and/or remotes are lost you will be responsible for the changing of the locks and 3 sets of keys/remotes (if applicable). Should a guest require additional keys after hours please phone 9652 2055. A $30.00 cash service fee will be applicable. If no spare keys are available, tenants may be liable for any costs in gaining entry to the property. The keys are your responsibility so please take care of them.
Schoolies: Sorry, schoolies bookings cannot be accepted as we do not have the policies, procedures or resources to accommodate these bookings.
Seafront Estate Guests: The Seafront Estate has limited parking for cars and boats. Each unit has 2 bays for parking. The unit may take a boat & trailer no bigger than 5 metres with a height restriction of approximately 2 metres. Please note, if your car, boat or trailer exceeds the boundary of the unit or you are parked on the common driveway or grassed area you will be asked to remove it immediately. NO PETS are allowed in the units or within the complex unless you are a property owner and have the Strata Managers approval. A fumigation charge will apply if a cleaner reports a pet was at the property. The common property area (ie: Pool, BBQ grassed areas) are only for the use of guests staying at the Seafront Estate.
The Waves at Jurien Guests: The Waves Villas have limited parking for 2 cars only. Street parking is available on Dalton Street for visitors. NO PETS are allowed in the villas or within the complex. There is strictly NO BOAT PARKING on site. The whole site is a NON-SMOKING area. If it is found that a guest has been smoking in or around the property, the person responsible for the Villa will be charged $250 from the bond or credit card details on file for cleaning.
Applicable to all Properties: Any guest will be required to immediately vacate the premises if they are not prepared to abide by the Terms and Conditions, and will forfeit all monies paid.
